Many companies may still be in the process of migrating essential legacy systems. Trend Micro strongly recommends that users migrate to the latest supported server OS version as soon as possible, but we also understand the complexity of migrating a large environment. This may be a concern for users, especially those in business and corporate environments who have not yet migrated to the latest supported OS. Microsoft will not address any vulnerabilities targeted at Windows 2003 Server discovered after the official EOS date. Microsoft officially announced the EOS for Windows Server 2003 (included extended support) on July 14, 2015, which effectively ended Microsoft support for all security updates, bug fixes and vulnerability patches. Even though it has officially reached End-of-Support (EOS) status, it remains a popular operating system (OS) even today in many corporate environments. Since its initial release in May 2003, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server has been utilized extensively by organizations and small businesses around the world. ![]()
